Volunteers from Sunderland RNLI were called out along with Officers from Sunderland MCA Coastguard Rescue Team to investigate a sunken speedboat on River Wear. After confirming that no persons were involved with the incident, the lifeboat crew and Coastguards recovered the boat onto the shore where it was handed over to the Police as lost/stolen property.
