Joe's POV: I couldn't sleep last night, knowing that that could be my best friend, my true love....my....Demzy. I laid awake the whole night thinking to myself...bringing back all the memories that we once shared together... *Flashback* Demi: (As a 9 year old and Joe as an 11 year old) Running through the fields. "Come on Joe, hurry up!" Giggling as Joe is running to catch up with her. Joe: Breathing heavy, tired of running. "Demi, we shouldn't be out here! Where are we even going? My mom is gonna freak if we aren't home soon." Demi: Slows down and looks back at Joe. She rolls her eyes and smiles. "Oh stop being such a party pooper! I hear that theres a witch in an old cottage down by the creek..." Joe: He widens his eyes, now standing next to her. "What?! NO, no, no, no, a thousand times NO! There is no way I'm going there, I hear she eats little children and keeps the skin and brains in a cellar." Demi: Laughs. "Oh Joe come on, stop being such a little baby! Where's you sense of adventure?" Doesn't give him a chance to respond, she continues running down, further into the woods. Joe: Sighs and follows her, his heart racing. *A few minutes later* Demi: Pulls back some branches that were caught on her shirt and suddenly stops in her tracks. She gasps, uncertainty now creeping into her mind. Joe: Finally catching up with her. "Demi? Why did you stop?" He looks where she is staring and his eyes widen again. The windows had ripped up curtains, barely covering up the sunlight ...
